Process description:
The facility consists of two tanks, two cooling towers and two thickeners. The pH is controlled automatically in one of the tanks using a controller and a valve which adds spent acid. The purified solution is cooled to separate gypsum by crystallization. The solution then enters two thickeners where gypsum is drained. The pH value is also measured in the thickener.
